Galatasaray claimed the Turkish Super Lig championship for a record 26th time on Saturday, securing the title at home with a 4-2 victory over Antalyaspor at RAMS Park that required a second-half revival after the visitors threatened to spoil the occasion.
The Lions, as Galatasaray are known, entered the night needing a result to seal the title and delivered in front of their home crowd in Istanbul, with Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen and midfielder Mario Lemina providing the decisive contributions in a match that swung dramatically before the final whistle.
Galatasaray's title party nearly unraveled before it began. Antalyaspor's Soner Dikmen pulled the visitors level just before halftime, scoring at the 48th minute to cancel out early Galatasaray pressure and send the sides into the break level. The goal silenced what had been expected to be a night of celebration and injected genuine anxiety into the partisan crowd at RAMS Park.
Galatasaray reasserted control after the restart. Lemina, introduced as a second-half substitute along with Dutch winger Noa Lang, broke the deadlock at the 56th minute to restore the home side's lead. Dikmen pulled one back again for Antalyaspor at the 62nd minute, making it 2-2 and keeping the tension alive, but Osimhen converted a penalty four minutes later to restore Galatasaray's advantage for good.
The Nigerian forward, on loan from Napoli and one of the Super Lig's most prominent signings this season, also added a second goal at the 88th minute to put the result beyond doubt.

Defender Kaan Ayhan, another second-half substitute, added a fourth in the fifth minute of stoppage time to complete the 4-2 scoreline, sending RAMS Park into full celebration.

The Super Lig has long been dominated by Istanbul's three major clubs, with Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, and Besiktas accounting for the vast majority of titles across its history.
