Galatasaray will host Hesap.com Antalyaspor on Saturday in a decisive Trendyol Super Lig match that could see the Istanbul club seal its fourth consecutive league title and 26th championship overall.

The Week 33 match will be played at RAMS Park and kick off at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Galatasaray leads the league with 74 points after 32 weeks, having recorded 23 wins, five draws and four defeats. With two weeks left in the season, Okan Buruk’s side sits four points ahead of nearest rival Fenerbahce and will be crowned champions if they beat Antalyaspor.

Antalyaspor arrives in Istanbul under pressure

While Galatasaray is chasing the title, Antalyaspor comes into the match with a very different objective. The Mediterranean side is 15th with 29 points, only one point above the relegation zone, meaning they need to come away from Istanbul with points to avoid slipping into deeper trouble.

Galatasaray won the first league meeting between the teams this season 4-1 in Antalya.

Galatasaray deals with goalkeeper suspension

Galatasaray will be without experienced goalkeeper Gunay Guvenc, who is suspended after receiving a red card against Samsunspor.

Defenders Eren Elmali and Roland Sallai are also one yellow card away from suspension. If either player is booked against Antalyaspor, they will miss the final league match against Kasimpasa.

Home form gives Galatasaray an advantage

Despite a difficult recent spell, Galatasaray remains unbeaten in its last 34 home league matches. Their most recent home defeat in the league came against Fenerbahce on May 19, 2024.

The team has also maintained a perfect record against Antalyaspor under Okan Buruk, winning all seven league meetings since he took charge in 2022.

Osimhen’s Antalyaspor record stands out

Victor Osimhen has been particularly effective in this fixture. The Nigerian forward has scored in all three of his matches against Antalyaspor for Galatasaray, netting five goals in total, including a hat-trick at RAMS Park.
