English Premier League newcomer Hull City reportedly eyes a move for Brazilian star Anderson Talisca from Istanbul club Fenerbahce, as the club's Turkish owner Acun Ilicali seeks a reunion with the player he helped bring to Türkiye.
Hull City has started evaluating the conditions of a potential deal for the 32-year-old attacking midfielder and is believed to have the financial capacity to meet Talisca's reported annual salary of €8.5 million, according to Turkish media.
While serving as Fenerbahce's vice president, Ilicali played a leading role in the club's pursuit of Anderson Talisca during the 2025 winter transfer window.
Fenerbahce signed Talisca on a free transfer in January 2025, handing the Brazilian a reported €6 million 18-month contract and bringing him back to Türkiye, where he had previously starred for Besiktas.
After an impressive first year, Fenerbahce extended Talisca's contract by two years in February 2026, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2028.
On the other hand, Hull City is looking to add proven top-flight experience as it prepares for its return to the Premier League, with Ilicali aiming to build a squad capable of securing survival in England's top flight.
The reports did not specify the stage of the negotiations or whether Hull City had opened formal talks with Fenerbahce.
Talisca has also been linked with Brazilian sides Bahia and Atletico Mineiro, adding to speculation over his future ahead of the new season.
Despite signing a contract extension earlier this year, the Brazilian's future at Fenerbahce has come under renewed uncertainty following the club's board reshuffle after last month's presidential election.
New president Aziz Yildirim and head coach Ismail Kartal are reportedly reshaping the squad to reduce the wage bill and comply with the Turkish league's foreign player limit, with Talisca emerging as one of the leading candidates to leave because of his relatively high salary.
The Brazilian enjoyed a prolific 2025-26 campaign, making 45 appearances across all competitions while scoring 27 goals and providing five assists.
