Galatasaray is reportedly keeping close tabs on Colombian striker Jhon Duran, who has indicated through his representatives that he is open to joining the Turkish club, according to a report by TRT Spor.

The 22-year-old forward is claimed to have expressed willingness to play for Galatasaray, with reports suggesting he could also accept a reduced salary compared to his previous earnings at Fenerbahce.

Management to assess player’s mental condition and await Icardi decision

The club’s approach to attacking reinforcements is expected to depend heavily on the future of Mauro Icardi. Galatasaray are reportedly waiting for clarity on Icardi’s situation before making a concrete move for a new striker.

It is also understood that Duran would be ready to join the squad immediately should the club give final approval, with the transfer process expected to move forward once Galatasaray management issues a positive decision.

The Colombian striker is currently under contract with Al Nassr, although reports suggest the Saudi side may not retain him for the upcoming season.

Duran has previously spent time in Türkiye and Europe during loan spells, including periods at Fenerbahce and Zenit Saint Petersburg.
