Lewandowski’s stellar performance leads Barcelona to a 3-0 victory over Atletico Madrid

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski scored a goal and assisted two others in his team’s 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid in a Sunday La Liga match, week 29.

Joao Felix opened the scoring in the 38th minute, Lewandowski doubled the lead in the 47th minute, and Fermin Lopez scored 3-0 in the 65th minute at the Civitas Metropolitano.

At the stoppage time, Atletico Madrid was left with just 10 players after Nahuel Molina was sent off.

The Argentine defender was shown a straight red card for a reckless tackle on Vitor Roque.

With 64 points, Barcelona is eight points behind Real Madrid.

Atletico Madrid is in fifth place with 55 points.
