Holders Paris Saint-Germain reached the Champions League final against Arsenal after a 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich in Wednesday’s semi-final second leg sealed a 6-5 aggregate victory.
Luis Enrique’s side had taken a 5-4 lead from last week’s first leg in Paris and extended their aggregate advantage early at the Allianz Arena through Ousmane Dembele.
Harry Kane scored for Bayern in added time, but the goal came too late to prevent PSG from advancing.
PSG will face Premier League leaders Arsenal in the final on May 30 in Budapest.
PSG strengthened their position in the tie in the third minute when Dembele scored from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s cutback, firing the ball into the roof of the net.
The goal gave PSG a two-goal aggregate lead and left Bayern needing a response at home.
Bayern were angered by some refereeing decisions in the first half but struggled to create enough attacking threat.
Manuel Neuer kept Bayern in the tie in the second half, making saves from Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue.
Kane scored his 14th goal of the competition this season in the fourth minute of injury time, drilling the ball in for Bayern.
But the late strike was not enough for the six-time European champions, who have not reached the Champions League final since beating PSG in the 2020 final in Lisbon.
PSG advanced after an excellent defensive display at the Allianz Arena, the same venue where they won their first Champions League title against Inter Milan last year.
The French side are now aiming to become only the second back-to-back Champions League winners since 1990, after Real Madrid.
