The Houston Rockets edged out the Miami Heat 123-122 in a tightly contested NBA game, with Turkish player Alperen Sengun putting up a “double-double” to help carry his team over the line.

Playing at the Toyota Center, Sengun turned in a composed performance, finishing with 19 points and 12 rebounds, as the Rockets picked up their 43rd win of the season.

His contribution helped steady the team in a game that came down to the final margin.

Kevin Durant led the scoring for Houston with 27 points, while Amen Thompson also stood out by putting up 24 points and 18 rebounds, securing a double-double of his own. Together, the trio helped the Rockets hold on in a high-scoring contest that remained close throughout.

Adebayo’s dominant display not enough for Heat

Despite the narrow defeat, Miami saw a standout individual performance from Bam Adebayo, who led all scorers with 32 points and pulled down 21 rebounds, marking one of the most dominant stat lines of the night.

Tyler Herro added 25 points, while Simone Fontecchio contributed 21 and Pelle Larsson chipped in with 19. However, their combined efforts fell just short, as the Heat slipped to their 33rd loss of the season.
