Snow, sun, and fierce competition, the world’s top snow volleyball teams have descended on Uludag, Bursa, for the 2026 FIVB Snow Volleyball World Tour.
The breathtaking summit of Türkiye’s famous ski resort is serving as the stage for this high-stakes tournament, where athletes from six countries compete for a total prize pool of $10,000. The event combines the thrill of international sport with the striking beauty of a snow-covered landscape.
The tournament is organized in collaboration with the Turkish Volleyball Federation, Osmangazi Municipality, and Uludag Teleferik, taking place at the Kurbaga Kaya Station in the 2nd Hotels Zone of Uludag Teleferik.
The competition features 19 teams from France, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Moldova, and host nation Türkiye, each consisting of four players, battling in specially prepared snowy courts.
Oguz Degirmenci, advisor for Beach and Snow Volleyball at the Turkish Volleyball Federation and director of the event, stated that the tournament began with group-stage matches today. He noted that the group matches will continue tomorrow, followed by the semi-final and final matches on Sunday, March 29, which will conclude the three-day event.
