Türkiye’s national football team has been ranked the 12th most valuable squad in the world, marking a notable rise from last year. According to the latest global valuation figures for October 2025, the total market value of the team now stands at €430 million ($499 million)—an increase of €81 million since November 2024, when Türkiye was listed in 14th place at €349 million.
This upward movement highlights both the strengthening performance of the country’s players and their increasing visibility in international leagues.
France maintained its dominant position at the top of the global rankings, holding the highest squad value of €1.09 billion. The French side was followed by England with €1.01 billion, while Spain rose to third place this year with €996 million, overtaking both Brazil and Portugal.
Brazil, valued at €914.5 million, ranked fifth, while Portugal came in slightly ahead with €954 million.
The list of the world’s 10 most valuable national teams was overwhelmingly European, with eight of the top ten hailing from the continent. From outside Europe, only Brazil and Argentina managed to secure spots in the top tier. Argentina, the reigning world champion, stood in seventh place with a total valuation of €772.2 million.
This European dominance underscores the financial and athletic strength of football across the continent, reflecting both player transfer values and club-level success feeding into national squads.
