Türkiye concluded the European Para Archery Championship in Italy with 10 medals, finishing second in the overall standings behind host nation Italy, which claimed 11 medals, according to a statement from the Turkish Archery Federation.
The national para-archery team secured 3 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals at the competition held in the capital, Rome.
Oznur Cure Girdi headlined Türkiye's campaign, winning gold in the women's para compound individual category for the second consecutive year.
The Paralympic champion, who also claimed the European title in Rome in 2024, advanced through the bracket without facing elimination in the Round of 16.
In the quarterfinals, Cure Girdi defeated fellow national athlete Busra Fatma Un 141–140. She then edged Tatiana Andrievskaia 139–138 in the semifinals before beating Anastasia Dzhioeva 136–132 in the gold medal match.
