Türkiye's Fenerbahce secured a 2-0 home victory over Austria's Sturm Graz as the second day of first-leg matches in the third qualifying round of UEFA's club competitions concluded on Wednesday.
Five fixtures were played across the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League, with four teams picking up victories and one match ending level.
In the Champions League qualifiers, Fenerbahce saw off Sturm Graz 2-0 at home, giving the Turkish side an advantage after the opening leg.
Denmark's AGF Aarhus also made home advantage count by beating Azerbaijan's Sabah 2-1.
Ferencvaros picked up a narrow 1-0 home victory over Poland's Gornik Zabrze in the only Europa League qualifying fixture played on Wednesday.
The one-goal result leaves the tie closely balanced following the first leg.
In the Conference League qualifiers, Apollon Limassol came away with a 1-0 victory against Norway's Brann.
Panathinaikos, meanwhile, was held to a 1-1 draw at home by Bulgaria's CSKA 1948 Sofia, leaving the teams level after the opening encounter.
