Fenerbahce is dealing with a growing social media crisis after Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri deleted every Fenerbahce-related video from his Instagram account amid criticism of his recent form.

The move comes on the heels of English left-back Archie Brown clearing all photos from his profile following a wave of fan reaction after the Samsunspor match.

2 clean-ups fuel social media crisis

Brown, 23, came under heavy fire from supporters after the game against Samsunspor and then took down his entire photo archive.

The backlash did not die down, and the tension spilled over when En-Nesyri, 28, followed suit by removing club-linked videos from his feed.

En-Nesyri steps back from club content

The striker has been targeted over an ineffective run and has chosen to pull back from posting about the club. His last Fenerbahce-related post dates to Feb. 2, and he has not shared any new club content since then.
