Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that significant successes have been achieved in the Narkocelik-27 operations conducted in 57 provinces targeting the production and sale of illegal drugs. During these operations, 1,700 kilograms of drugs and 1.18 million drug pills were seized.

The operations, which took place in 57 provinces including Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir, involved 990 teams, 2,475 personnel, eight aerial vehicles and 34 narcotic detector dogs. As a result of these efforts, 396 drug dealers were apprehended.
Sharing footage of the operations, Yerlikaya congratulated the police officers involved and emphasized the determination to continue the fight against drugs with unwavering resolve.
