86 suspects arrested in cybercrime operation 'Siberag-4' in Türkiye

Turkish Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya reported that 86 suspects were apprehended in cybercrime operation "Siberag-4" operations against online child obscenity, illegal betting, qualified theft and fraud.

Yerlikaya reported on his social media account that the Gendarmerie General Command Anti-Cyber Crimes Department coordinated operations in 26 provinces.

The minister stated that as a result of the Siberag-4 operations, in which 86 suspects were captured, unlicensed pistols and many computers, fake driver's licenses and digital materials were seized.

"It was determined that the suspects' accounts had a transaction volume of ₺91.4 million ($2.75 million). In the Cyber Homeland, just as in the physical homeland, our fight against crimes and criminals will continue with determination 24/7. I congratulate our brave Gendarmerie for carrying out the operations. May God protect them from harm," he said.
