Former Good Party MP to form new nationalist opposition party
Yavuz Agiralioglu, a former Member of Parliament (MP) of the Good Party, has officially announced his intention to form a new nationalist and conservative party.
For some time, there have been speculations that Agiralioglu would establish such a party.
In his statement on the matter, Agiralioglu said: “We will establish our party in the fall. The name has not been decided yet.”
He also mentioned that some current MPs might join his new party.
Referring to the AK Party’s promise to fight “poverty, corruption and bans,” Agiralioglu remarked: “We will advocate for ‘wisdom, morality, and justice.’ If poverty, corruption, and bans had been resolved, there might not have been a need for this. But we need wisdom, morality and justice.”
