Main opposition leader Ozel applauds Left Alliance’s France victory, praises Palestine stance

Ozgur Ozel, Chairman of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), extended congratulations to the left-wing New People’s Front alliance following their victory in the second round of France’s general elections.

The alliance secured the top position, surpassing President Emmanuel Macron’s Renaissance party, which came second, and the far-right National Rally (RN) party in third place.

Ozel praised the alliance for its success in defeating the far-right in the parliamentary elections and highlighted its commitment to recognizing the State of Palestine.

He stated, “I congratulate the Left Alliance for their victory in France’s parliamentary elections and commend their stance on recognizing the State of Palestine.”
