Severe weather causes flight cancellations at Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport on Feb. 11, 12

Due to adverse weather conditions, several flights scheduled to depart from Sabiha Gokcen Airport have been canceled. The cancellation rate for flights planned for tomorrow is reported to be 5%, while for Wednesday, the rate is 10%.

  • Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SGIA) announced that due to expected unfavorable weather, 5% of flights scheduled for February 11, 2025, and 10% of flights scheduled for February 12, 2025, will be canceled.
  • Passengers are advised to check flight statuses through the websites or call centers of the respective airlines.
  • Ajet, a Turkish airline, issued a statement confirming the cancellation of some flights departing from or arriving at Sabiha Gokcen on the affected dates, following a decision made by the Meteorological Emergency Committee (MADKOM).
