Turkish Armed Forces eliminate 9 PKK terrorists in northern Iraq ops

Turkish forces eliminated nine PKK terrorists in operation areas in northern Iraq, the National Defense Ministry said in a statement.

“Our heroic Turkish Armed Forces eliminated nine PKK terrorists detected in Hakurk, Gara and Operation Claw-Lock Operation regions in northern Iraq. Wherever they are, the breath of the Turkish soldiers will continue to be on the neck of the terrorists,” the statement read.

The PKK, designated as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the U.S., and the EU, has been responsible for over 40,000 deaths in Türkiye during its nearly 40-year-long terror campaign, which has tragically included women, children and infants among its victims.
