Two rocket shells fired from Syria landed near Türkiye's Kilis border. A rocket ricocheting from clashes on the Syrian side of the Turkish border fell in a mined area, igniting a fire.
Meanwhile, security sources indicate that the Turkish army was not involved in the incident and deny claims that a response was given.
In the evening, the mortars struck rural areas, specifically Oylum Höyüğü and Akıncılar in Kilis, a city in southern Türkiye.
