Turkish air operations successfully eliminated 19 terrorists – 10 in Gara, six in Hakurk and three in Qandil, according to the Ministry of Defense between Sept.7 to 9.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to combat terrorism, stating: "We will continue executing unpredictable, unconventional, swift, and sustained operations to eliminate terrorism at its source."
The PKK remains a significant threat to the territorial integrity of Türkiye, Iraq, Syria and Iran.
Since launching its first attack in Siirt in 1981, the terrorist organization has caused the deaths and injuries of thousands of Turkish citizens.
Türkiye continues to lead major operations both within and beyond its borders to counter this ongoing threat.
