Turkish forces eliminated seven terrorists, with three located in northern Iraq and four in northern Syria.
“We continue our fight against terrorism and terrorists with all our strength for our beloved homeland,” the National Defense Ministry said on its social media account.
“Our heroic Turkish Armed Forces neutralized three PKK terrorists detected in the Pence-Kilit Operation area in northern Iraq and four PKK/YPG terrorists identified in the Peace Spring region in northern Syria. Our operations will continue with determination and resolve,” the statement said.
The PKK/YPG terrorist organization has killed thousands of Turkish citizens since its first attack in 1981.
