“Today, we distributed food parcels to 300 families. Our food parcel distributions continue without discrimination based on religion, language, or ethnicity, aiming to assist needy families,” Akkaya said.
Akkaya also mentioned that at the same campus, they produce 2,500 loaves of bread daily at a bakery, which are distributed to Iraqi needy families in the Bahirka Refugee Camp in Erbil.
Furthermore, Akkaya added that through the Şevkat Butik Project in Erbil, the Turkish Red Crescent also distributes clothing donations from benefactors to needy families.
