At least 22 dead after Israel strikes tent city in Mawasi
At least 22 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike on Rafah tents in the Mawasi area in Rafah in southern Gaza, where millions of Gazans have been taking refuge since Oct.7
Following the attack, Hamas called on the U.N. to immediately stop the “indiscriminate and barbaric bombardment” of Rafah.
Palestinian resistance group Hamas called on the international community and the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to take “practical and immediate measures” to stop Israeli aggression and the occupation of Rafah city.
Hamas also said that waves of deaths and displacement of innocent civilians, mostly women and children, continue because of the escalating Israeli attacks.
