Two communications professionals working on Republican Mike Rogers' U.S. Senate campaign in Michigan are also registered foreign agents involved in Israeli government-funded communications operations, Drop Site News reported Sunday.

Campaign spokesperson Abigail Ronson and communications specialist Jesse Stokes have worked on Israeli government projects since May 2026 and October 2025, respectively, while maintaining roles connected to Rogers' campaign through political consulting firm Convergence Media, according to the report.

The arrangements involve a multimillion-dollar Israeli government communications initiative in the United States aimed at combating antisemitism, the outlet said, citing federal registration records.

Israeli government project worth $46.5M

Ronson registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) in May for work involving Havas Media Network through Clocktower X LLC, a company associated with former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale.

Her registration describes the contracted activities as "strategic communications, planning, and media services" for an Israeli government initiative targeting U.S. audiences.

According to Drop Site News, Ronson is among 14 Convergence Media employees subcontracted for a $46.5 million Israeli government communications project involving social media campaigns and artificial intelligence.

Stokes registered under the same Havas contract in October 2025 and has reportedly written several press releases for Rogers' Senate campaign.

The overlapping arrangements raise questions about the connections between the campaign's communications operations and the Israeli government-funded project, although the report did not establish that the Israeli government directed any campaign activities.

Rogers campaign paid contractor millions, records show

Federal Election Commission (FEC) records show that Rogers' campaign has paid Convergence Media millions of dollars during the current election cycle, according to the report.

The campaign previously denied that Ronson was a staff member, although she reportedly communicated with journalists using an official campaign email address.

The report did not establish whether Rogers or senior campaign officials were aware of the foreign-agent registrations or the full extent of the communications workers' involvement in the Israeli government project.

Neither Ronson nor Stokes immediately responded to Drop Site News' requests for comment.

Another campaign spokesperson also did not respond to questions about whether the campaign knew of the arrangements.
