Pakistan launches Operation Bunyan Un Marsoos against India, destroying many targets

Pakistan launched a major military offensive against India in early hours of Saturday. With the 'Operation Bunyan Un Marsoos', Pakistani military announced that it destroyed missile storage site in India’s Beas region.

“Bunyan-un-Marsoos” translates as concrete structure or firm foundation, according to Pakistan-based news outlet Dawn.
The military's statement also added that an air base in India's Udhampur and an airfield in Pathankot were destroyed.

According to state-owned PTV News, Pakistani drones have been active in the skies of India's capital New Delhi..

According to local media outlets, Pakistan also carried out cyber attacks in India affecting the country's power grids.

India launched missile attack against Pakistan

Pakistan accused India of launching missile strikes early Saturday, May 10, on several critical Pakistani military installations, including the Noor Khan Airbase, Shorkot Airbase and Murid Airbase. Pakistan’s air defense systems "successfully intercepted and neutralized these hostile attacks in time," according to a government statement on X.

"There have been no casualties or material losses," it said. It also said that "India must now prepare for Pakistan’s response."

The government emphasized that the Armed Forces of Pakistan are "fully prepared to defend the homeland, airspace, and national security."
No immediate response has been issued by India.
