After President Ebrahim Raisi’s passing, Saeed Jalili has emerged as a prominent figure in political discussions, with expectations of a potential successful bid for the presidency if he chooses to run.

Given his close ties to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Jalili is not anticipated to encounter any veto from the Guardian Council should he decide to pursue candidacy.
