Yemen's army said late Tuesday that government forces carried out 414 operations targeting Houthi reinforcements and military capabilities across multiple fronts over the previous 24 hours, causing losses and equipment.
Military spokesman Majed al-Nuzaili said the operations used different and modern capabilities against Houthi positions, according to a statement carried by Yemen's official Saba news agency.
"Our forces carried out 414 precise targeting operations against Houthi military reinforcements and capabilities during the past 24 hours," Nuzaili said.
He did not provide figures for casualties or equipment losses.
There was no immediate comment from the Houthis on the army's claims.
The Defense Ministry said Monday that government forces had carried out 356 operations against Houthi targets across 10 fronts, killing or wounding 476 members of the group.
The latest fighting has centered on fronts including Taiz, Marib, Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda and Lahij.
Those areas have seen some of the heaviest clashes since fighting intensified in early July 2026 following a period of relative calm after the April 2022 ceasefire.
The conflict intensified further throughout September, with the Houthis reported to have taken control of several key areas in Al-Hudaydah and Taiz provinces.
Those gains included the strategic city of Mokha and Mayyun Island, which overlooks the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
Yemen has been engulfed in conflict since the Houthis seized the capital, Sanaa, and several provinces in September 2014.
A Saudi-led Arab coalition has supported Yemen's internationally recognized government since March 2015.
