Top stock purchases, sales by foreign investors on Borsa Istanbul in October

Foreign investors executed significant trades on Borsa Istanbul in October, resulting in a net sale of $639 million, according to data from Türkiye's Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK).
The monthly figures highlight both the most bought and sold stocks by overseas investors amid ongoing market fluctuations.

Key stock purchases on Borsa Istanbul led by Turkcell, Turkish Airlines
The top stocks purchased by foreign investors were dominated by leading companies in the telecommunications and aviation sectors:
- Turkcell (TCELL): $25.7 million
- Turkish Airlines (THYAO): $17.5 million
- Binbin (BINBN): $14.8 million
- Coca-Cola Icecek (CCOLA): $14.1 million
- Tekfen Holding (TKFEN): $10.3 million

Major stock sales on Borsa Istanbul focused on banking sector
The largest stock sales by foreign investors targeted Türkiye's major banking institutions, with Akbank and Yapi Kredi leading the list:
- Akbank (AKBNK): $159.01 million
- Yapi Kredi (YKBNK): $143.7 million
- Sabanci Holding (SAHOL): $116.3 million
- Is Bankasi (ISCTR): $85.6 million
- Garanti BBVA (GARAN): $64.9 million
