Turkish Airlines has been named the winner of a leading European airline food and beverage award for the fifth time, recognizing the flag carrier’s in-flight catering service across its international network.
The airline received the Best in Class in Food and Beverages Execution award from the Airline Passenger Experience Association, known as APEX, during a ceremony in Dublin on Wednesday.
The APEX Awards were based on anonymous and verified passenger feedback, gathered in cooperation with TripIt by Concur, a travel planning app.
Passengers rated over 1 million flights operated by over 600 airlines worldwide. The reviews covered five areas of the travel experience: seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverages, in-flight entertainment and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Turkish Airlines CEO Ahmet Olmustur welcomed the recognition, saying the result reflected the “passion and craftsmanship the teams demonstrate at every stage.”
He also thanked passengers for their trust and support, as well as airline employees for bringing the service experience to life.
APEX Group CEO Joe Leader said Turkish Airlines had carried the quality of its in-flight catering, together with Türkiye’s rich culture and hospitality, to the world.
Turkish Airlines said its catering program includes a wide selection of menus and regularly updated service concepts across its network, which reaches destinations in 130 countries.
