Polin Group, which exports waterparks to 120 countries, is preparing to launch more than 200 new projects worldwide in the 2025–2026 season.
Chairman of the Board of Polin Group, Baris Pakis, said to a group of journalists visiting the company: “By building a sector from zero in Türkiye that could not even be imagined years ago, today we have reached a very serious point globally. Now we are not only selling slides, but entertainment.”
Emphasizing that they are among the leading companies in the sector with more than 4,000 projects carried out around the world, Pakis underlined that they are present not only on land but also with their slides on the ships of cruise giants such as Carnival and Royal Caribbean, and stressed that they did not stop production despite the economic challenges.
He added, “Together with our business partners, we will overcome the difficulties. In the first eight months of 2025, we received orders for large investments from Iceland to Japan, from Brazil to Australia, from the United Arab Emirates to Egypt. In the next six months, we will complete all our orders in line with the delivery schedules. We continue to work in three shifts at our factory. The number of projects we have delivered so far this year is also close to 150.”
Operating in the waterpark sector and carrying out projects in 120 countries, Polin Group is preparing to deliver more than 200 new projects worldwide in the 2025–26 season.
Stating that the journey, which began in a small workshop in 1976, has turned into a structure that now signs giant projects both on land and at sea, Pakis evaluated both the current situation of the sector and the goals of the company.
He noted that the number of projects carried out to date has exceeded 4,000, and said that they have signed projects all around the world.
Emphasizing that Polin Group has its signature on the first waterparks established in Türkiye and in many countries of the world, Baris Pakis stated that Polin took part in projects such as Europe’s largest indoor waterpark Suntago Water World (Poland), one of Asia’s most remarkable projects Cartoon Network Amazone (Thailand), Las Vegas, the capital of entertainment in the USA, Türkiye’s largest integrated entertainment destination The Land of Legends (Antalya), Aquascope (France), Tropical Islands Resort (Germany), and Neverland City (Egypt).
Pakis stated that Polin Group not only develops projects but also became one of the players that set the standards of the sector, noting that Polin is one of the few companies that had a say while European norms (EN) were being created.
“As Polin, we export not only products but also our understanding of safety and quality. We stood out in the sector with our innovative products. Polin stands out with its approach of transforming water slides into thematic experiences. While the best-known example of this approach is King Cobra, the Stingray slide launched in 2024 at O’Gliss Park in France currently shows Polin’s creativity and innovation power in thematic projects. Both slides have been among the best slides in Europe since the day they were installed. From slides with transparent appearance to parks produced with sustainable materials, we brought many innovations from Türkiye to the sector,” he said.
Pakis stated that today Polin Group is not only a slide manufacturer but also operates in a wide range from aquariums to indoor entertainment centers, from theme parks to waterparks on cruise ships.
“Cruise giants such as Carnival and Royal Caribbean prefer Polin for the entertainment areas on their ships. Since 2017, Polin slides have been present on the ships of many global cruise companies, including Carnival, Royal Caribbean, P&O Cruise, and MSC. These projects are examples that prove our engineering strength and our success on an international scale. As long as we continue to stay innovative, our growth will also continue,” he added,
