The 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival presented its awards at a closing ceremony at the Cam Piramit Fair and Congress Center in Antalya, a Mediterranean coastal city in southern Türkiye.
The festival, hosted by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, ran Oct. 24-31.
“Stone and Feather” (“Tas ve Tuy”), directed by Ragip Turk, won best film in the National Feature Film Competition and left the ceremony with six awards.
Turk also received the best screenplay award for the film, which follows a woman released from prison as she tries to reunite with her son in a children’s home.
The film also took the Film-Yon Best Director Award, the Cahide Sonku Award for actor Melda Tuzluca, a share of the best editing award for Naim Kanat and the Sungu Capan National Cinema Writers Award.
