Demet Ozdemir joins Kerem Bursin in Amazon’s 'Grand Maison Istanbul'

Turkish actress Demet Ozdemir has been cast as the lead in "Grand Maison Istanbul," an upcoming Amazon Prime Video original series, ending months of speculation over who would play Defne.

Ozdemir will star opposite Kerem Bursin, who plays Ates.

Production company DASS Yapım plans to begin filming in December.

Built for global audience

Umut Aral, an International Emmy Award-winning director, will helm the series.

Amazon is positioning "Grand Maison İstanbul" as part of its slate of global originals, made for audiences worldwide rather than only for viewers in Türkiye.
