Istanbul is set to welcome internationally renowned rock musicians in 2026, with performances by Patti Smith, Chris Isaak and the BEAT project, according to an announcement from ticketing platform Biletinial.
Legendary rock musician Patti Smith will return to the stage in Istanbul on May 17, 2026, performing at Bonus Parkorman. Known for iconic songs such as “Because the Night” and “People Have the Power,” Smith has also gained recognition in the literary world with her memoir "Just Kids." She has previously performed in Istanbul in 1999 and 2016.
The concert will feature her classic hits alongside poetic performances. Smith will be accompanied by her long-time collaborators Lenny Kaye, Jay Dee Daugherty, Tony Shanahan and Jackson Smith.
American singer-songwriter Chris Isaak, renowned for hits including “Wicked Game”, “Blue Hotel”, and “Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing”, will perform at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre on June 20, 2026. Isaak, a Grammy nominee whose music has been featured in films such as Eyes Wide Shut and Blue Velvet, will perform selections spanning his more than 40-year career.
The progressive rock supergroup BEAT, featuring former King Crimson members Adrian Belew and Tony Levin, guitarist Steve Vai, and Tool drummer Danny Carey, will perform on July 11, 2026, at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre. The group will present modern interpretations of King Crimson’s seminal 1980s albums, including "Discipline", "Beat" and "Three of a Perfect Pair".
