Thomas Anders, best known as the voice of the iconic German pop duo Modern Talking, will take the stage at Istanbul's Ora Arena on Aug. 15.
The German singer is set to perform some of Modern Talking's best-known songs alongside tracks from his solo career, bringing together different periods of a music career that has stretched across nearly four decades.
The concert program is expected to feature fan favorites including "You're My Heart, You're My Soul," "Cheri Cheri Lady," "Brother Louie" and "Atlantis Is Calling (S.O.S. for Love)."
These songs helped Modern Talking build up a major international following and establish itself as one of Europe's most successful pop acts of the 1980s.
Released in 1984, "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" became the duo's breakthrough hit and climbed to the top of music charts in more than 30 countries.
The success of the song helped Modern Talking reach audiences across Europe and beyond, while Anders went on to sell millions of albums through his work with the duo and as a solo artist.
