Nobel Prize-winning author Orhan Pamuk is preparing to release a new novel, which is expected to be published very soon, according to his publisher Yapi Kredi Publishing.

The publishing house recently shared a promotional video on social media showing Pamuk in Istanbul’s Beyoglu district. In the footage, he is seen leaving the Yapi Kredi Bookstore and taking photos with his phone, which sparked excitement among readers.

Although an official release date has not yet been announced, the publisher described the book as “coming very soon,” suggesting that publication is imminent.

Pamuk had previously mentioned in a 2025 interview with The Art Newspaper that the novel’s title could be “A First Love,” though no final title has been officially confirmed in the latest announcements.
