Norwegian gothic and symphonic metal band Sirenia is set to perform in Istanbul for the first time as part of its 25th anniversary world tour, bringing its long-running international stage presence to audiences in Türkiye.
Marking a quarter-century in music, the band will take the stage on May 10 at IF Performance Hall Besiktas, a well-known venue in the city’s live music scene.
Widely regarded as a leading act within Europe’s gothic and symphonic metal scene, genres that blend heavy metal with orchestral elements and atmospheric themes, Sirenia has built a strong reputation over the years.
The band has released 10 studio albums along with an EP and numerous singles, many of which have gained international recognition and climbed radio charts in various countries.
Over its extensive career, the group has toured across Europe, Latin America, North America, Asia, and Australia, steadily building a global fan base. Along the way, Sirenia has shared stages with major international acts including Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith and Korn, reflecting its prominent standing within the global metal community.
The Istanbul concert will open with a performance by Dragonborn, an epic metal band from Ankara, setting the tone for the evening ahead.
