German rock band Scorpions has released a video message addressed to fans in Türkiye, recorded upon the group's arrival in Istanbul ahead of their upcoming performance on June 24 at Besiktas Tupras Stadium.
The clip was shared by the concert organizer, Besiktas Kultur Merkezi (BKM), and features the frontman, Klaus Meine, speaking directly to Turkish audiences in English.
Meine appears on camera soon after the band arrives in Istanbul and gives a brief message.
"Hello Türkiye. We can't wait to see you in Istanbul on June 24. Don't miss it, because we will rock you like a hurricane," he says in the video.
His words reference one of the band's best-known songs, "Rock You Like a Hurricane," which was released in 1984 and has been a highlight of Scorpions' concerts for over 40 years. The song is from their seventh studio album, "Blackout," and remains a key part of their shows around the world.
The Istanbul concert is part of the group's world tour called "Coming Home – 60 Years of Scorpions." The tour celebrates 60 years since the band started in Hannover, Germany, in 1965.
The tour looks back at important moments from the band's history and still attracts big crowds around the world. Organizers say the June 24 show will have a large stadium production, similar to recent concerts in other major cities.
Scorpions have sold over 100 million albums worldwide and are often seen as Europe's most successful rock band. In their 60-year career, they have won many international awards, such as the World Music Award, the Echo Award, and a place in the Hollywood RockWalk of Fame.
Some of their most famous songs include "Wind of Change," "Still Loving You," "No One Like You," and "Rock You Like a Hurricane." These hits are expected to be highlights of the Istanbul concert.
The June 24 concert is the band's first show at Besiktas Tupras Stadium in 33 years, showing that Istanbul remains an important center for big international music events.
The concert is expected to attract fans from across Türkiye and neighboring countries, making it a major event on Istanbul's 2026 cultural calendar.
BKM, the organizer, has been involved in Türkiye's live events scene since 1995.
