Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, the Kremlin announced.
The talks between the two leaders will focus on the situation in the Black Sea and the war in Ukraine, according to the Kremlin.
The Kremlin's statement did not provide further details on the timing or agenda beyond confirming that the bilateral meeting will take place within the framework of the SCO gathering. Putin and Erdogan will meet alongside other heads of state attending the summit in the Kyrgyz capital.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is a Eurasian political, economic and security bloc that includes Russia, China and several Central Asian states, among other members.
Türkiye has held dialogue partner status with the organization. Erdogan and Putin have met on multiple occasions in recent years, often addressing regional security matters and bilateral ties between Türkiye and Russia.
