The Israeli military reported killing 90 Hezbollah members in southern Lebanon since hostilities resumed, including two fatalities within the last 24 hours. Overnight, the Israeli air force also targeted and destroyed the group's infrastructure.

According to the Israeli military, the 90 people killed were "terrorists" in southern Lebanon since the resumption of hostilities there.

The military also said its forces killed two Hezbollah members over the last 24 hours and that the air force destroyed some Hezbollah infrastructure overnight.

Israeli military reports new strikes as fighting continues

The Israeli military did not provide further details in the text on the locations of the infrastructure it said was hit.

Its latest statement came as fighting continued following the resumption of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

It added that Hezbollah launched a rocket attack in early March in support of Iran following the killing of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Since then, Israel has been carrying out strikes across Lebanon, including in the capital Beirut, and has pressed deeper into its invasion of Lebanese territory.

Ceasefire had been in place since Nov. 27, 2024

A ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah had ostensibly been in place since Nov. 27, 2024.

However, official U.N. records indicate more than 10,000 Israeli violations during this period, resulting in hundreds of Lebanese deaths.

The findings further highlight the humanitarian toll, noting that the fighting has forced 1.2 million people to abandon their homes.
