An introductory session for the “Aleppo, Mother of All” campaign was held in Istanbul on Tuesday to brief members of the Syrian community in Türkiye on the initiative’s goals and reconstruction plans for the city, with Aleppo Governor Azzam al-Ghareeb leading the official delegation.

The session aimed to introduce members of the Syrian community in Türkiye to the campaign’s goals, plans and operational pathways.

The conference addressed strengthening community solidarity to support the restoration of infrastructure in Aleppo, including hospitals, schools and roads.

It also outlined initiatives related to strengthening community participation in efforts to revive the city, discussing investment files and opportunities available to businesspeople interested in contributing to the city’s industrial and economic revival.

According to Syrian media, the conference was attended by the governor’s deputies, the province’s investment official, the head of Aleppo’s Political Authority, and the head of the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce, along with several Syrian and Turkish businesspeople and members of the Syrian diaspora—particularly those from Aleppo residing in Türkiye.

Governor al-Ghareeb held talks on Monday with a delegation from the Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MUSIAD) on economic and investment cooperation and ways to enhance partnerships in productive sectors.

During the meeting held at the time in Istanbul, al-Ghareeb emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with the Turkish business community, particularly in the fields of industry, trade and services.

He stressed that Aleppo possesses significant potential that enables the establishment of investment projects capable of supporting economic recovery and revitalizing production, according to a statement published by the Aleppo Governorate on its official channels.
