U.S. conservative media personality Tucker Carlson claimed that authorities in Saudi Arabia and Qatar intercepted and arrested several Mossad agents operating within their borders who were planning on committing bombings inside their countries.

The allegations suggest that the operatives were planning false-flag "bombing attacks" intended to destabilize the region, allegedly to turn Gulf countries against Iran during the intense aerial campaign by the U.S. and Israel against Iran.

According to Carlson, intelligence services in Riyadh and Doha coordinated to detain the Israeli agents.

He framed the alleged arrests as a turning point in regional security, saying that Gulf nations are increasingly willing to push back against Israeli intelligence operations.

"These weren't just spies; these were people tasked with carrying out kinetic operations—bombings," Carlson stated during his report.

Saudi Arabia shut down the Tas Tanura refinery

Saudi Arabia's state oil giant Aramco shut its Ras Tanura refinery following an Iranian drone strike on Monday, an industry source told Reuters, as Tehran launched retaliatory strikes across the Gulf region in response to the U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran.

The refinery was shut as a precautionary measure, and the situation is under control, the source said.

US Embassy in Saudi Arabia hit

The U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia’s capital came under a drone attack, the Saudi Defense Ministry said early Tuesday.

In a statement posted on the U.S. social media company X’s platform, the ministry’s spokesperson said the embassy was struck by two drones, according to initial estimates.

The attack caused a limited fire and minor material damage to the building, with no casualties reported, it added.

The development came amid escalating regional tensions triggered by joint US-Israeli military strikes on Iran launched early Saturday, killing several top Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and top military officials.

Iran has responded with missiles and drones targeting Israel and US military assets across the Gulf.

Meanwhile, the US Embassy in Riyadh issued a security alert announcing a shelter-in-place order for its missions in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dhahran.

“The U.S. Mission to Saudi Arabia has issued a shelter-in-place notification for Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dhahran and is limiting non-essential travel to any military installations in the region—we recommend American citizens in the Kingdom shelter in place immediately,” the embassy said in a statement posted on X.

The embassy said it continues to monitor the regional situation and urged US citizens to maintain a personal safety plan, avoid demonstrations and large gatherings, and follow instructions from local authorities.
