United States President Donald Trump said Friday that only the “unconditional surrender” of Iran will end the ongoing war, ruling out the possibility of negotiations with Tehran.

“There will be no deal with Iran except UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.

He said that after Iran capitulates and new leadership is selected, the United States and its allies would work to rebuild the country.

“After that, and the selection of a GREAT & ACCEPTABLE Leader(s), we, and many of our wonderful and very brave allies and partners, will work tirelessly to bring Iran back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before,” Trump said.

Trump added that the rebuilding effort would depend on the installation of what he called “a GREAT & ACCEPTABLE Leader(s).”

He also repeated the idea in the same post, saying Iran could be brought “back from the brink of destruction” and become “economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before.”

The president ended his message with a new slogan, “MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN (MIGA!),” a variation of his well-known “Make America Great Again” political slogan.

Conflict intensifies across Middle East

Trump’s comments came as Israel carried out strikes on regime targets in Tehran and positions belonging to Hezbollah in Beirut.

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also said that American strikes against Iran were “about to surge dramatically.”

Regional tensions have escalated since the United States and Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iran beginning Feb. 28.

The attacks have reportedly killed more than 1,000 people, including Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, several senior military officials and dozens of schoolgirls.

Tehran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel as well as Gulf countries hosting U.S. military assets.
