Two drones targeted Salalah port in Oman on Saturday, injuring one foreign worker, according to a report by the Oman News Agency.

The Oman News Agency said the incident resulted in one injury but did not provide further details on the damage or the source of the drones.

Two drones hit the port of Salalah in the far south of Oman, a statement carried by the country's official news agency said, injuring the worker and causing "limited" damage to a crane.

“The Sultanate of Oman affirms its condemnation of these heinous targeting acts and is taking all measures to ensure the security of the country and the safety of its residents,” it added.

This comes as the U.S. and Israel have been carrying out airstrikes on Iran since Feb. 28, killing over 1,340 people.

Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, along with Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting U.S. military assets, causing casualties and infrastructure damage while disrupting global markets and aviation.
