The English Premier League powerhouse Arsenal has reportedly stepped up its interest in Türkiye’s 20-year-old international forward Kenan Yildiz, with club scouts set to attend Sunday’s match against Milan to watch the young Juventus star, Italian media reported.
Arsenal scouts are expected to monitor Yildiz’s performance closely during the Serie A clash, as the forward continues to establish himself as one of Juventus’ most promising young players, Italian sports daily Tuttosport reported.
The match will be played at Allianz Stadium in Turin on Sunday at 6.45 p.m. GMT, with Kenan Yildiz expected to start in the lineup.
However, Juventus has already prepared a contract framework to secure Yildiz for the long term, with only final administrative details still pending.
Club officials have indicated that Yildiz is not being considered for transfer negotiations and remains central to the team’s ongoing sporting project.
The Italian side is keen to ensure that the forward continues his development within the club’s structure rather than becoming the subject of transfer speculation.
Yildiz made his Serie A debut under former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri, who was known for his direct involvement in mentoring young players.
Allegri was even noted for instructing the player to adopt a more disciplined approach both on and off the pitch, emphasizing focus during matches.
Current head coach Igor Tudor has since taken over responsibility for refining Yildiz’s raw talent, aiming to turn his flashes of brilliance into consistent performances at the top level.
Despite his young age, Yildiz has established himself as a regular part of Juventus’ first-team squad. Wearing the number 10 shirt—traditionally associated with the club’s most creative players—he has also been entrusted with the captain’s armband on occasion.
This season, the forward has appeared in seven matches, contributing two goals and four assists.
In addition to his role at Juventus, Yildiz has established himself as a key figure for Türkiye’s national team, earning 23 caps and scoring two goals.
Yildiz currently holds a transfer market value of €50 million ($58.7 million), according to the player valuation platform Transfermarkt.
