Türkiye's reigning champion Galatasaray posted a €139.57 million ($164.95 million) net transfer deficit across the 2025/26 season’s two transfer windows, ranking in the top 10 just above Saudi club Al-Ittihad, the figures show.

The yellow-reds have spent €157.62 million ($186.28 million) on transfer fees and generated €18 million in revenue across both windows, with most of the spending taking place in the summer window.

Osimhen leads record transfer outlay

Galatasaray’s largest transfer fee of the season is a €75 million deal for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who joins the club from Italy’s Napoli after spending last season on loan, marking the highest transfer fee ever paid by a Turkish club.

The second-largest signing is 24-year-old Ivorian center-back Wilfried Singo for €30.77 million, followed by Turkish goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir for €27.50 million.

During the winter transfer window, Galatasaray spent only €9.5 million, with the period’s highest signing being Renato Nhaga from Portugal’s Casa Pia for €6.5 million.

According to Transfermarkt’s ranking, English club Arsenal ranks first with €280 million in spending, followed by Liverpool with €263 million and Manchester City with €200 million.

Tottenham comes next with €183 million and Manchester United with €177 million, while Real Madrid places sixth with €165 million.

Sunderland and Al-Hilal are listed at the same level with €161 million each, while Al-Ittihad ranks tenth with €119 million.
