Galatasaray have rejected a reported €130 million offer from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal for Victor Osimhen and made clear that they have no intention of entering negotiations over the Nigerian striker this summer.

According to Sky Sports, Al Hilal submitted the verbal proposal through intermediaries on Wednesday, but Galatasaray turned it down and informed the Saudi club that Osimhen is not available for transfer.

The stance shuts down, at least for now, Al-Hilal's latest attempt to bring in a player they have pursued for some time.

Galatasaray shut door after record investment

Osimhen joined Galatasaray from Napoli on loan in 2024 before the Turkish champions made the move permanent last summer for €75 million, a Turkish transfer record.

Since arriving in Istanbul, the striker has scored 59 goals in 74 appearances, establishing himself as a central part of Galatasaray's attack.

Despite the size of Al Hilal's latest proposal, Galatasaray has reportedly insisted that it will not consider selling Osimhen at any price this summer.

Al Hilal looks to strengthen attack

Al Hilal's interest in Osimhen stretches back to before his permanent move to Istanbul, with the Saudi club having previously come close to signing the Nigerian international.

The club is now looking to strengthen its squad ahead of another Saudi Pro League title challenge after finishing second last season, two points behind champions Al-Nassr.

Al Hilal is also expected to approve Darwin Nunez's departure in the coming days, while Osimhen has emerged as their high-profile target to reinforce the attack.

The Saudi side has already completed a £60 million deal for Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United and also has Karim Benzema and Malcolm among their attacking options.

Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with Osimhen, but Galatasaray's position remains unchanged, with the Istanbul club ruling out a summer sale.
