Türkiye suffered its third straight UEFA Nations League defeat on Friday, losing 3-0 to Belgium after falling to France and Italy in its first two Group A1 fixtures.
Played at Stade Maurice Dufrasne in Liege, the home side took control early and held its lead as Türkiye struggled to respond.
Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring in the 10th minute, collecting the ball near the edge of the penalty area before curling his effort into the corner. Arda Guler tested goalkeeper Senne Lammens six minutes later, but his shot was gathered at the second attempt.
Türkiye came close again in the 19th minute when Arda's free kick from the left found Abdulkerim Bardakci near the six-yard box, but his header went narrowly wide.
Belgium pushed for a second before halftime. De Bruyne picked out Hans Vanaken in the 34th minute, but his backheel effort was saved by Ugurcan Cakir. Four minutes later, the Türkiye goalkeeper got a hand to Lukebakio's powerful strike, which then hit the post.
Türkiye nearly equalized in the 44th minute when Zeki Celik sent the ball across the area following a corner, but Merih Demiral's first-time effort from the back post sailed over.
Belgium came out strongly after the break, with Lukebakio hitting the post again in the 53rd minute. De Bruyne doubled the lead six minutes later, controlling a deflected ball outside the penalty area before firing into the net.
Romelu Lukaku, who plays for Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig, came off the bench in the 61st minute and added the third in the 76th, finishing from close range after Charles De Ketelaere's low cross from the right.
Arda Guler had a chance to reduce the deficit in stoppage time, but Lammens turned his free kick around the post. The result left Türkiye at the bottom of the group without a point, while Belgium moved up to 6 points.
Arda and Baris Alper Yilmaz picked up yellow cards while already on the suspension threshold, ruling them out of Türkiye's away match against Italy on Oct. 5.
Besiktas player Leandro Trossard entered the game in the 74th minute.
