Turkish TV presenter Cansu Canan Ozgen reported that seven members of parliament from the Good Party (IP) and the Future Party (GP) are likely to defect to the ruling AK Party.

Ozgen, citing inside sources, suggested that former chair of IP Meral Aksener's influence has been a factor in the decisions of IP members.

According to Ozgen, there is anticipation of a wave of MP defections next week, particularly from IP to the ruling AK Party. Ahmet Ersagun Yucel's name is prominently mentioned in these discussions. Ozgen emphasized that discussions between the MPs and the AK Party leadership have been pivotal.
