Water well in Africa: Türkiye to honor will of soldier killed by PKK terrorist group

The July 15 Association and the Presidency of Religious Affairs will fulfill the wish of Mehmet Ali Horoz, who was killed by the terrorist organization PKK in a clash in northern Iraq, by opening a water well in Africa.

In a recorded cell phone conversation with friends before the operation, Horoz said: “Volkan dreamt that I would die. If that happens, I want you to open a water well in an African country.”

Following the emergence of the video, the July 15th Association stated, “We must honor the wish of Horoz, who sacrificed his life for our homeland without hesitation.”

Ali Erbas, President of Religious Affairs, affirmed their commitment, stating: “We will fulfill his wish.”
