An airplane caught fire late Tuesday at Gimhae International Airport in the southeastern city of Busan, South Korea, according to Yonhap News.

At least three people were injured when an Air Busan plane caught fire late Tuesday at Gimhae International Airport in Busan, South Korea, Yonhap News reported.

The aircraft, which was bound for Hong Kong, caught fire at its tail before takeoff. Fire authorities responded swiftly, evacuating all 169 passengers and crew members. However, three individuals were injured during the evacuation process.

This follows a tragic accident on Dec. 29, when 177 people were killed after a Jeju Air flight crashed at Muan International Airport.
